This summer, I teamed up with a fellow flipper to invest in an area that was new to both of us. It was new to us because we didn't have flipping experience there, but the purchase price and local comps supported the level of work and profit required for the project. This home in Indian Springs, AL was built in 1995 by the original owners of the property, Tom Owen and his wife. Being built in the 90's, this home had those soffit boxes in the bathrooms over the vanities & tub and an incredible amount of recessed lighting! I'm happy not to have had to replace all of those. This home on Riverchase Parkway in Hoover, AL was built in 1978 as one of the first 20 homes in the sought after Riverchase Community. This was before neighborhood communities like Ross Bridge and Greystone were popular. Being built in the 70's, this home didn't have hardwoods under the carpeting like you see on those home improvement shows.
